For a long time, I did not know a lot about Slovenia. Instead, I have only driven into or through the country three times. In early summer 2011, I at least managed to squeeze in a short visit to Piran (on my way back home from Croatia).

In early summer 2022, it was finally time for a more thorough exploration: I spent ten days in Slovenia (mostly in the Northwestern part of the country). More about this trip can be found in my travel diary in my blog.
