After more than six years, I finally returned to Norway. My vacation already started with the first highlight: a two-day bike trip on Rallarvegen<\/a> – even with bright sunshine (at least on the first day)! What more could you ask for?<\/p>\n

We biked from Haugastøl<\/span> (1000 meters above sea level) along the Hardangervidda<\/span> (with views of the Hardangerjøkulen<\/span> glacier) over Finse<\/span> to Hallingskeid<\/span>, where we spent the night.<\/p>\n

The next day, we continued to Myrdal<\/span>. From there, we descended into the Flåmsdalen<\/span> all the way to the bottom of the valley (and hence to sea level). From Flåm<\/span>, we returned with the Flåmbana<\/span> to Myrdal<\/span>. From there, we caught the Bergensbanen<\/span> back to Bergen<\/span>.
