It is much quieter, much less chaotic, and has much less traffic&nbsp;&#8211; in short: a place to relax!<!--more--><\/p>\n  <div class=\"wp-bkab-quer_re wp-caption alignright single-image\">\n  <p class=\"image\">\n   <a href=\"1-20150408_192543\/\" class=\"lightbox-link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img360x270\" src=\"..\/..\/..\/..\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/1-20150408_192543-360x270.jpg\" width=\"360\" height=\"270\" alt=\"[Foto]\" title=\"Tilmadhav Temple\" \/><\/a>\n  <\/p>\n  <p class=\"wp-caption-text\">\n   Tilmadhav Temple\n  <\/p>\n  <\/div>\n\n<p>On my arrival, the streets were literally empty (after a heavy thunderstorm). From my room, I could hear a group of old men chanting some religious songs in front of the nearby Tilmadhav Temple&nbsp;&#8211; <em>that<\/em> is how I envisioned Nepal!<\/p>\n<p>The next day, there were some tourists in town, of course, but I still had the feeling that Bhaktapur is a quite untouched Nepali town. I also prefer the local Durbar Square to the one in Kathmandu. What is more, the surrounding buildings fit in much better, as most of them are (seemingly) quite old brick buildings with artfully carved wooden windows.
