It is a nice little town, but (to be honest) I expected a little more.<!--more--><\/p>\n  <div class=\"wp-bkab-quer_re wp-caption alignright single-image\">\n  <p class=\"image\">\n   <a href=\"20220625_111059\/\" class=\"lightbox-link\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img360x270\" src=\"..\/..\/..\/..\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/20220625_111059-360x270.jpg\" width=\"360\" height=\"270\" alt=\"[Foto]\" title=\"Slom\u0161ek Square (with university library)\" \/><\/a>\n  <\/p>\n  <p class=\"wp-caption-text\">\n   Slom\u0161ek Square (with university library)\n  <\/p>\n  <\/div>\n\n<p>Maybe the city seemed so sleepy because of today&#8217;s Slovenian Statehood Day (which is a public holiday)? The Slovenes take their Statehood Day quiet seriously, it seems: Not only were all shops closed, but many of the restaurants in the city center as well.
