{"id":552,"date":"2009-02-15T03:07:00","date_gmt":"2009-02-15T02:07:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bernies-journeys.at\/?p=552"},"modified":"2018-11-18T11:59:12","modified_gmt":"2018-11-18T10:59:12","slug":"schulverweis-der-anderen-art","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bernies-journeys.at\/en\/2009\/02\/15\/schulverweis-der-anderen-art\/","title":{"rendered":"School Eviction of Another Kind"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The last Friday was indeed a Friday the 13th for the <a class=\"www\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gaianicaragua.org\/\" xml:lang=\"es\" lang=\"es\">Escuela de Espa&ntilde;ol <acronym>FUNDECI\/GAIA<\/acronym><\/a>: A strike of the Spanish teachers was followed by the eviction of the school from its main building. A new owner has been assigned by court! Within a few hours, we had to vacate the building <em>completely<\/em> (including all furniture).<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Even though the Spanish lessons will allegedly continue to be held as planned (just with new sleeping quarters on the rim of the crater instead directly at the lake), I have finally decided to cancel the third week of my Spanish lessons. Instead, I will start with my travels a week early.
