In the end, I spent most of the time in an area already known to me, but I still had a nice day.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The new region to explore was the <span xml:lang=\"mi\" lang=\"mi\">Wairau<\/span> Valley, which unforunately does not offer any easily accessible, short hikes. Therefore, I went hiking at <a class=\"www\" href=\"https:\/\/www.doc.govt.nz\/parks-and-recreation\/places-to-go\/nelson-tasman\/places\/nelson-lakes-national-park\/\">Nelson Lakes National Park<\/a>, where I have already been hiking <a  href=\"https:\/\/bernies-journeys.at\/en\/2013\/02\/13\/hinauf-zu-den-engeln\/\">up to the angels<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery
