{"id":6670,"date":"2024-09-14T14:05:11","date_gmt":"2024-09-14T12:05:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bernies-journeys.at\/?p=6670"},"modified":"2024-09-15T08:54:25","modified_gmt":"2024-09-15T06:54:25","slug":"einmal-quer-durch-frankreich","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bernies-journeys.at\/en\/2024\/09\/14\/einmal-quer-durch-frankreich\/","title":{"rendered":"Across France"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today I spent practically the whole day on the train, travelling across France: My train journey began at 7:32&nbsp;a.m. in <span  xml:lang=\"de\" lang=\"de\">Karlsruhe<\/span>, and at 7:21&nbsp;p.m. I finally arrived in <span  xml:lang=\"fr\" lang=\"fr\">Tarbes<\/span> just North of the Pyrenees.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>When subtracting the time for changing stations and queuing for my connecting train in Paris, I only had about two hours left for sightseeing. Orignally, I had planned spending this time on the \u00cele de la Cit\u00e9 (i.e. in the city centre), as my metro journey from one train station to the other passed right by there anyway.
