This time, however, my (now quite high) expectations have not been fulfilled.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The old town of <span xml:lang=\"sla\" lang=\"sla\">Budva<\/span> is quite nice, but cannot compete with the charm of <span xml:lang=\"sla\" lang=\"sla\">Kotor<\/span>. Worse still, the city is firmly in the hands of Russian and Ukrainian tourists. In itself, this is not that bad&nbsp;&#8211; if it was not for the other effects of mass tourism: Basically the whole beach promenade of <span xml:lang=\"sla\" lang=\"sla\">Budva<\/span> is crowed by food vendors, travel agencies, ice cream parlours, and various junk stalls. In particular, I liked the somewhat remote <span xml:lang=\"sla\" lang=\"sla\">Mogren<\/span> beaches (the latter of which can only be reached through a small rocky passage, and&nbsp;&#8211; depending on the tides&nbsp;&#8211; you might even have to get your feet wet).
