The latter, by the way, is pronounced &#8220;Marsa-shlock&#8221;&nbsp;&#8211; because in Malti, the letter &#8220;X&#8221; actually represents an &#8220;SH&#8221; sound.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I really enjoyed walking along the limestone cliffs between those two towns. On the way back to Valletta, I also stopped at the <a class=\"www\" href=\"https:\/\/heritagemalta.mt\/explore\/hal-tarxien-prehistoric-complex\/\"><span xml:lang=\"mt\" lang=\"mt\">\u0126al Tarxien<\/span> Prehistoric Complex<\/a> to check out the megalithic temples there.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-8301  gallery-size-thumbnail'><figure
