Utah, the "Beehive State", is mainly known for its nature sights. In the northeast, it borders the Rocky Mountains. To the west of those stretches the Great Basin with its salt lakes (which gave the state's captial, Salt Lake City, its name). Finally, the southwest is part of the Colorado Plateau, where a lot of the famous national parks may be found, e.g. Arches and Canyonlands National Parks near Moab, Bryce Canyon or Zion National Park.
