We spent our first day Banff close to the town, and I took the opportunity to take a walk along Bow River.

On my birthday, we visited some really impressive sights: Moraine Lake and Lake Louise.

In the evening, we finally went out for dinner. Afterwards, we continued celebrating at a bar close by.

We spent another day around town, and it was still not boring: We took the Banff Gondola to enjoy the view from atop a moutain down to the valley.

In the evening, we lighted a campfire, which has almost already become a tradition.
