Over the years, I have explored many parts of Europe even without flying. The map below shows all my overland trips to/from Vienna in red. Overland trips that did not start or end in Vienna, but crossed a "red" route (and are therefore "second-order" overland trips, so to speak) are shown in orange. Finally, "third-order" overland trips (those crossing an "orange" route) are marked in yellow.
