My tour started in Boston, the capital of Massachusetts.

Both on our way to and from Atlantic Canada, we spent two days in Maine, staying ...

... in Acadia National Park ...

... as well as in Baxter State Park.

In between, we spent one week in Canada, where we explored three national parks:

Fundy National Park, ...

... Cape Breton National Park, ...

... as well as Prince Edward Island National Park.

After this tour through the "Atlantic Maritimes", I spent five more days in New York City.

While staying in New York, I made a day trip to Philadelphia.
