The Queensland coast hosts several quite impressive national parks. But also outside of national parks, there is a lot to see and explore:
-
-
The city of Brisbane itself might not be that spectacular. However, it is a good gateway to the state of Queensland. Furthermore, nearby one can find some nice beaches, several national parks where one can enjoy short hikes, or a zoo for exploring the Australian fauna.
-
Going along the coast to the North, there are a lot of places which are worth a visit, for example Fraser Island, the largest sand island in the world.
-
The attraction is possibly the Great Barrier Reef, stretching along the Northern part of the Queensland coast.
-
But Tropical North Queensland has also other great sights to offer, for example the Atherton Tableland.
