  December 27 – 30, 2007 – Buenos Aires-

The first four days of our stay, we spent in and around Buenos Aires. While being there, we both explored the city itself ...
-

... as well as parts of the surrounding nature, for example the Tigre Delta.

  December 31, 2007 – January 3, 2008 – Lake District-

After that, we finally made our way to Patagonia. There, we first visited the lake region around San Carlos de Bariloche.

  January 15 – 17, 2008 – Santa Cruz-

Later, we also explored Santa Cruz province. There, the numerous, large glaciers ...

... as well as the unspoilt nature around El Chaltén were especially appealing to me

  January 18 – 20, 2008 – Tierra del Fuego-

Also our last destination in the far South, Tierra del Fuego, was worth the visit: Among others, we have been canoing, hiking, and watching beavers.

  January 22 – 23, 2008 – Iguazú Waterfalls-

Finally, I extended my holiday at the Iguazú waterfalls for another three days, which was yet another highlight.
