 Wyoming, the "Equality State", is mostly famous for the country's oldest national park: Yellowstone. So, the nickname of this state seems somewhat out of place until you learn that it led the way in women's rights within the United States.

For tourists (and, consequently, also for me), however, the Yellowstone National Park (and the adjacent Grand Teton National Park) is much more fascinating than this historical fact. During my "Best of the West" tour in May 2010, I spent just under a week in this region. A short travel diary (which is part of my blog) tells more about this visit.
