My Native Country Austria

    I explore my hometown Vienna every once in a while, even though maybe not very thoroughly. Nonetheless, some photos do exist.

    Like a lot of Viennese, I visit Lower Austria – mainly for hiking in the eastern fringes of the Alps.

  • 

    Because of my job, I lived in Steyr (Upper Austria) for three years. During this time (but also afterwards), I have been sightseeing a bit, for example in the beautiful Salzkammergut.

  • 

    For me, a stay in Salzburg was often related to skiing. However, Salzburg is also a beautiful summer destination.

  • 

    Also Styria is a good place for both a winter and a summer vacation kann.

  • 

    I am quite fond of Carinthia, as already said before, thanks to many holidays at my grandparent's.

  • 

    In the course of several (mostly shorter) trips, I enjoyed some days amidst the mountains in Tyrol.

  • 

    The western-most state, Vorarlberg, also has lots of beautiful nature to offer, for example in the Arlberg region or in the Montafon.
