In the last (just over) 20 hours, I have completed the longest leg of this trip: a train ride from Stockholm in Sweden to Narvik in (Northern) Norway – over 1,000 kilometers as the crow flies! Nevertheless, this journey is still not among my top three longest train journeys.

All three legs of my train trip across the United States were longer (again measured as the crow flies). And just like my train journeys in the United States, also this one did not feel that long at all: There was enough to see looking out of the window, especially the further North we got.
