For a very long time, Africa was still a (mostly) blank spot on my travel map. In fall 2018, I managed to change that with a trip to South Africa (and Lesotho).

My three days in Cape Town were almost to short to get to know the city properly. Still, I can say that it will be difficult for any other South African city to compete with Cape Town: its location between Atlantic Ocean and Table Mountain is extraordinary, it is quite safe (for South African standards), and there is lots to see.
