Luckily, autumn in (and around) Vienna is not only dominated by the fog: Today, it was sunny almost all day – especially on the Rax, one of the mountains close to Vienna.

Therefore, I took advantage of the beautiful weather, and spent a couple of hours on the Raxalpe. Thankfully, I was up early enough, because quite a few others had the same idea. Being that early, I was able to go up with the cable car without having to wait. Moreover, as I was ahead of most people, I was also quite undisturbed on my hike along the Preinerwand. So, I could really enjoy the beautiful weather and the magnificent views.
