Actually, the motivation for my route today was getting to know a region of New Zealand that I have not visited before. In the end, I spent most of the time in an area already known to me, but I still had a nice day.
The new region to explore was the Wairau Valley, which unforunately does not offer any easily accessible, short hikes. Therefore, I went hiking at Nelson Lakes National Park, where I have already been hiking up to the angels.
This blog entry is an abridged version of the original entry in German.
