After my tour around Lake Whakatipu , I returned to Queenstown. There, I rented the necessary equipment for a multi-day hike (i.e. sleeping bag, and cooking pot): I spent the three days over Christmas on the Routeburn Track.

This blog entry is an abridged version of the original entry in German.
Oje, schade, dass so manch schöner Ausblick aufgrund tiefliegender Wolken nicht in seiner vollen Pracht zu genießen war, du hast aber trotzdem sicher die Weihnachtsfeiertage einmal “anders” und in mehr Ruhe (zumindest was die typische vorweihnachtliche Reizüberflutung angeht) verbringen können als sonst. 🙂
Die Weihnachtsfeiertage sind bei mir eigentlich üblicherweise eher ruhig – es gibt nicht wirklich viele Familienfeiern (außer der “Kernfamilie”). Aber anders waren die Feiertage diesmal mit Sicherheit, ja. 🙂
