From the 9th to the 20th Century

Today was a really relaxing day: In the morning, I visited the remains of a mozarabic fortress, and explored the area of the dams of El Chorro Gorge, whereas in the afternoon, I was lazing around on the terrace of my accommodation.

One reason for this decision was the rather unpleasant weather: cloudy, and very windy. So, I only visited the ruins of the fortress Bobastro (built in the late 9th century).

After that, I had a look over El Chorro Valley from the other side as before, and I went hiking at the start of the gorge. From there, I had a good view of the remains of the Caminito del Rey and the numerous dammed lakes around El Chorro.
