Volunteering at Volcán Arenal

For a week, I have been working as a volunteer at Volcán Arenal National Park, and another week will follow.

Most of the time, I am working inside the park, cleaning walking paths or lawns, or watching for illegal tourists who enter the park on trails that are actually closes to the public. The work might not be too exciting, but it usually offers some excellent views!

All in all, the volunteering works offers a great opportunity to get to know the park in detail. Moreover, today (on my day off), I was able to explore the surroundings as well. I visited a waterfall, and had a refreshing bath at its base after the hike up.
