Iceland in 36 Pictures
Touring around Iceland
In summer 2014, a group of friend and me spent just under three weeks in Iceland. During our stay, we drove around the whole island in a rental car.
The Golden Circle
At the end of our trip, we did the tourist thing, and visited the sights of the Golden Circle: the waterfall Gullfoss, the geyser Strokkur, and Þingvellir. Continue reading The Golden Circle
Traversing the Highlands

Canyons and Waterfalls

Coastal road across the mountains
Driving along the coast for (almost) the whole day need not be boring. We enjoyed great views from the Hellisheiði hills, and on the Rauðanes peninsula. Continue reading Coastal road across the mountains
Waterfalls cold/warm
Today, we visited some waterfalls (both cold and warm), and a deep and narrow canyon. Continue reading Waterfalls cold/warm
