Tusheti and the untouched Caucasus

After my visits to Svaneti and Kazbegi last year, it was time for the third Georgian mountain region: Tusheti.

All in all, I had fantastic days with fabulous weather in the alpine environment of Tusheti. Due to its remoteness (at least four hours by 4WD from the nearest larger settlement), this region still remains widely untouched and receives only few tourists. Hopefully, it will stay this way to keep Tusheti as pristine as it is now.
