The idea of a visit to a musical in London finally grew into a three-weeks-long vacation in the United Kingdom (with the focus on Scotland). Due to a conference visit in London just before my vacation, I was even away a whole month (including a short workation in France).

Coire Lagan and the Tourist Fairy Pools
The Cuillin Hills are considered to be one of the most spectacular mountain regions in the United Kingdom. Because despite their rather low heights, the pointed peaks definitely deserve the designation “mountains”. Most of the peaks can even be reached only by very experienced mountaineers.
