I dedicated my first two full days in the French Pyrenees to a few mountain cirque – although some of them were originally not on my list.

I did visit the Cirque de Gavarnie as planned. However, I had to replace my visit to the Cirque de Troumousse with a visit to the Cirque d’Eres Lits, as the road to the former was closed after some flood damage.
