Tulips from Amsterdam

I explored the Canadian capital for two days, visiting both the Parliament (and its surroundings) as well as two museums (due to the inclimate weather).

The city itself offers some nice leisurely strolls, e.g. along the banks of the Ottawa river. As far as the museums are concerned, I learned a bit about Canadian history and art in the Canadian Museum of Civilization and the National Gallery of Canada, respectively.

During the dry periods (between the rain showers), I also enjoyed more the colourful Tulip Festival, which takes place annually at this time of the year.
