Just a few dozens kilometers away from Jotunheimen National Park, the weather was much better. So, we decided to go on an overnight kayak trip in Nærøyfjord.
Apart from a short thunderstorm on the second day (which is, by the way, quite rare in Norway) that made us paddel quite fast for a while (in order to reach an area where we could get out of the water) it was a fabulous trip: We camped near a waterfall, directly at the shore of the Fjord. With our kayaks, we explored about two thirds of the (quite narrow and steep) Nærøyfjord.
