Hochkönig is king

The last two days were dedicated to Hochkönigstock and Steinernes Meer. As I was feeling a bit lazy (and it was supposed to rain in the afternoon), I opted for the more relaxed (and shorter) option of a chairlift ride, and a hike at the top on both days. The mountain calls, and the lake as well

My original plan for today was a visit at Mondsee. However, in the morning I felt like going on a short hiking trip before. So, I hiked to the Wartenfels ruins, Schober, and Frauenkopf. From there, I had a gorgeous view of Lake Fuschl – which is why I drove there instead of Mondsee. Continue reading The mountain calls, and the lake as well
