Today, I finally said farewell to the Anaga mountains– probably not a day too early: Since the afternoon on the day before, it had been raining on and off. From mountain to sea

I want to dedicate the next few days of my holidays to the Anaga mountains in the North East of the island of Tenerife. In other to get an idea of the different altitude levels of this nature park, I decided to start with a hike from the view point Cruz del Carmen (at almost 1000 metres above sea level) to Punta del Hidalgo (at the coast). New week, new island

At the start of my second (full) week of holidays on the Canary Islands, I took the ferry to the next island: Tenerife. I will spend the rest of my holidays there – even though the title might indicate that I will be switching islands weekly now. However, Tenerife is larger than Gran Canaria.
