Today I explored the southeast coast of Malta: I hiked from Marsaskala to Marsaxlokk. The latter, by the way, is pronounced “Marsa-shlock” – because in Malti, the letter “X” actually represents an “SH” sound.
I really enjoyed walking along the limestone cliffs between those two towns. On the way back to Valletta, I also stopped at the Ħal Tarxien Prehistoric Complex to check out the megalithic temples there.
