Unbelievable, but true: Starting in autumn, I will be going on a round-the-world trip for the second (!) time. This time, I will be on the road a bit shorter. Still, there should be enough time to enjoy both revisits (like New Zealand) as well as exploring new destinations (like French Polynesia) along my route.

Bhutan has to wait
For the first time ever, I have to cancel a whole trip: Originally, I planned to travel to Bhutan in early April. However, the current situation with COVID-19 makes this trip impossible. Continue reading Bhutan has to wait
Dubai cancelled!
Actually, I should already be sitting in the plane to Dubai. As I was lying in bed with a cold for the past five days, however, I decided to grant myself two additional days of rest at home. Therefore, I cancelled my stop-over in Dubai. So, my trip to New Zealand will finally start on January 28.
New Zealand, here I come (again)!
I just booked my flight: In exactly six month, I will be leaving for an eight-weeks long holiday in New Zealand (with a short, two-day stopover in Dubai on the way there) – thanks to a two-month long unpaid vacation.
T minus 1234567
Slowly, my RTW trip is coming to an end: From the time of publishing this blog entry until my scheduled arrival in Vienna (if the flight arrives precisely on time) are just some 1,234,567 seconds. In other words, I will return to Vienna late on May 18, 2009.
Central America is definite!
DON’T PANIC!?!
In less than twelve hours, I will depart on my round-the-world trip. Just a few hours before, I am already getting more and more excited (because I am really looking forward to this trip), but also a bit more anxious (because I will be spending so much time alone abroad). However, there is still so much to prepare and organize, so that there is hardly any time left for being nervous. Continue reading DON’T PANIC!?!
Just two more month …
In two months to the day, i.e. on September 25, 2008, I will depart for my longest and farthest trip – a true Round-the-World trip! I am planning to blog about my travels on these pages (however, quite possibly only in German). So, stay tuned for reading about my experiences in Taiwan, Singapore, Sydney, Fiji, New Zealand, the Cook Islands, and maybe even Central America.
Leaving for Patagonia
Today, I am flying to Buenos Aires (via Madrid) for a four-weeks-long holiday in Argentina and Chile. I will spend most of my time in Patagonia. However, I will also visit Buenos Aires and the Iguazú waterfalls.
I will try to blog regularly (in German) about my experiences on this trip. If interested, please visit my German blog.
